     Title:  New Management Company

    AnnouncementsTo Whom It May Concern:
I am writing to you with regard to proposing my Management Company's services to better your overall condition of your Community/Investment.

Ironically, our firm has taken over a similar property and found after the first meeting that we were able to save their Community $35,000 annually in expenses when they were considering (at the time) to raise the assessment again for the upcoming year. This is simple "checks and balances" that were not carried out by Vintage Management???

I welcome members and the Board of Directors to log onto our web-site to review our attributes (such as your own dedicated web-site that we host/maintain at no cost) to see how we can provide better service to your Community.

You can check us out at phoenixhoamanagement.com or by calling (909) 481-1519. Thank you for your time.

    Sincerely,

    Steve Mammen, President
    Phoenix Management Consultants

ParkingI am the owner and a resident of 1453 N. Elderberry.

on September 22, 2009 I was unloading a box in my garage when my truck got towed. I was unloading the box and when I took the box to put it inside I noticed that there was a tow truck trying to take my truck.

He lifted the truck while I was there and when I asked him why he was towing my truck he stated that I could pay him $87.50 right there then and he would leave my truck. He did not bother stating the reason for him towing my truck While I was trying to stop him and talk to him he sped up and took my truck.

I immediately called Vintage Management but they said they are unable to help me and gave me the phone number for the towing company so I could get my truck back I called Dynamic Towing and they asked me to pay $299.50 and I did pay $ 299.50. Vintage Management also said that I would have to raise this issue in the monthly meeting which will be held on October 21.

I waited the whole month and went on October 21 to the meeting. However, when I got there I discovered that there was no meeting and that they decided to hold the meeting a day earlier without notifying the members.

The towing company has no reason to tow my truck as I just parked for literally a few minutes just to take the box out and put it in the garage. This is extremely unfair to residents like me as we have no way to unload anything heavy close to our houses.

I wrote a letter to property manager Mr John Bauer on 3rd of October 2009 but he never replied me .

    A Call to Save Water
Washing vehicles is prohibited within the Association. Residents tell us that there are several local car washes that we can wash for about $3 - $5.

Please report any broken or malfunctioning sprinklers immediately to Vintage Management. There is a form within this site that can be used, or use the contact information to the right.

A federal court has curtailed water deliveries from northern California due to environmental factors in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. And, after a record dry spring that dramatically curtailed snow runoff from the Sierra Nevada mountains, Governor Schwarzenegger declared an official statewide drought on June 4, 2008. General NewsI would like to know what your standing is in relation to individual home owners groups governed by a board which has a governance group who seem to be able to make arbitrary rulings related to what a home owner can or cannot do on his property. Do you know of any group( with legal powers) that can mediate a dispute between above named groups?

ParkingWhen I first moved in in July of 2002, there were no parking permits, and aside from the occasional person from the Mountain Shadows Apartments parking in our lot, there were no parking issues either. The parking permits were an attempt to control who is parking on our property. I don't think there is anything wrong with the concept of trying to control what happens on our property, but there is definitely something wrong with the current system.

AnnouncementsVery early Friday July 6th, three outsiders snuck into our closed pool and trashed it, throwing lounge chairs, dirt, garbage, and waste containers into the pool. The Clubhouse was also tagged. This resulted in closing of the pool. Fortunately, there was an eyewitness to the trashing. Sunday. July 22, the three kids were nabbed! The parents are responsible for the cleanup costs. A HOA member caught them! We are proud of her that she was able to identify them to the police.

AnnouncementsSomeone needs to manage the management company and the board. Since October 2005 I've been told that the board approved to replace the fire lane no parking sign at the entrance to the driveway at 6th and the west side of Elderberry. This is almost August 2007. And the board wonders why no one goes to the meetings. Nothing gets done. We need more homeowners to attend the meetings to see where our money is going.
